The exposure happened when Tiffany Stratton’s legs dropped on James’ torso, causing her low-cut top to slip and expose her chest to the live audience.
“If I was Kiana James, I’d be so upset with WWE because they did not put up a black screen when Kiana had an unfortunate wardrobe mishap inside Elimination Chamber,” one viewer wrote in a Threads post.
Unfortunately for female wrestlers, these incidents happen with the clothing they’re required to wear. Tiffany Stratton went through a similar experience in 2025, as did Charlotte Flair.
The wardrobe malfunction aside, James had a solid performance. She eliminated Alexa Bliss during the match before Raquel Rodriguez took both James and Asuka out in one fell swoop.
Ripley is moving on to the WWE Women’s Championship match against Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 42 this April.
James now has to figure out what to do with her outfit going forward—and deal with the reality that an embarrassing moment was broadcast to millions without intervention.
