On Monday, Hrden and the Cavaliers faced his former team, the Philadelphia 76ers. Before the game, the 11-time All-Star appeared to take a subtle dig at his old team by wearing a pregame shirt that read:
“Where are my superstars?”
Harden spent two seasons with the 76ers after being traded from the Brooklyn Nets. He later moved to the Los Angeles Clippers early in the 2023-24 season.
His departure from Philadelphia was messy, marked by public criticism of team president Daryl Morey and a forced trade to the Clippers.
Harden finished with 21 points, five rebounds, and five assists against the 76ers. During the game, he also reached a major career milestone, becoming the ninth player in NBA history to surpass 29,000 career points.
