Legendary coach Lou Holtz passed away on Wednesday at age 89 after battling illness. He died surrounded by his family in Orlando, Florida.
Holtz spent 33 years coaching at the collegiate level. He spent 11 years with Notre Dame, posting a 100-30-2 record, and seven seasons with Arkansas, posting a 60-21-2 record.
In the wake of his death, Pardon My Take’s X account made a joke about Ohio State coach Ryan Day’s hypothetical reaction to Holtz’s passing
