Philadelphia, PA Emotions ran wild during the Toronto Raptors’ matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night when Brandon Ingram completely lost his cool in front of thousands of fans.
Midway through the third quarter, frustration boiled over after a delay of game call gave Philly’s Trendon Watford a free three point chance. That’s when Ingram, visibly furious, threw his drink bottle in anger splashing teammate Scottie Barnes and even hitting a towel staff member in the face.
“Brandon Ingram was PISSED on the Raptors bench,” posted @Fullcourtpass, sharing the now viral clip.

Fans Left Shocked by Ingram’s Meltdown
The video quickly spread across social media, racking up thousands of views within minutes. Fans couldn’t believe what they were seeing from the usually calm forward.
“You can’t lose your temper like that in front of your teammates,” one fan commented.
“Bro needs to chill that’s not leadership,” another added.
The outburst overshadowed what was otherwise a strong performance by Ingram, who scored 21 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and added 5 assists in 37 minutes.
Unfortunately, the night ended in disappointment for Toronto the Raptors fell 120–130 to the 76ers, snapping their four game winning streak and dropping their record to 5–5.
A Rocky Start to His Raptors Era
After being traded from the New Orleans Pelicans in February 2025, Ingram came to Toronto with hopes of a fresh start. He’s been one of the team’s top performers this season, averaging 21.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists through 10 games the third highest scoring start in franchise history.

Still, Saturday’s emotional meltdown raises questions about Ingram’s mindset as the season heats up. The Raptors will look to bounce back when they face the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night.
Social Media Reacts
The clip of Ingram’s outburst has taken over NBA Twitter (X), with mixed reactions some defending his passion, others calling for discipline.
“Every player hits a boiling point. He’s human,” one user wrote.
“That staff member deserves an apology ASAP,” another replied.
Either way, it’s safe to say Brandon Ingram just gave the NBA world something to talk about and it’s not just about basketball.
