BREAKING: Jacksonville Jaguars Are Officially Relocating But There’s a Twist

April 2, 2026

According to a new report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Jaguars have received league approval to relocate temporarily for the 2027 NFL season.

The Jags will take the field at Camping World Stadium, a venue best known for hosting the annual Citrus Bowl, Pop-Tarts Bowl, and Cure Bowl. It has also been home to past teams like the UCF Knights.

Despite the move, ESPN’s Michael DiRocco confirmed that the Jaguars will continue to use their Jacksonville training facility. The relocation is solely for stadium construction.

This temporary move places the Jaguars in a city already buzzing with sports energy. Orlando is home to the NBA’s Magic, MLS’ Orlando City, and the NWSL’s Orlando Pride.

The relocation news comes as Jacksonville tries to build on a strong 2025 campaign. Under rookie head coach Liam Coen, the team shocked many critics by winning the AFC South.

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence led a young core featuring Brian Thomas Jr., Travis Hunter, Parker Washington, Travon Walker, and Josh Hines-Allen.

Now the focus shifts to 2027: a new temporary home, a rebuilt stadium, and a franchise hoping to take the next step forward.
