The Crash
On Wednesday, the Charlotte Hornets star was involved in a collision in Uptown Charlotte while driving his custom GMC Hummer EV Edition 1. Attempting to turn left at an intersection.
Ball emerged unharmed and was later picked up from the scene in a Lamborghini because when you’re LaMelo Ball, even your ride after a crash makes a statement.

The Press Conference
When a reporter asked Ball why he left the scene, the response was characteristically cryptic:“Nah, you gotta check in on that.”
Then he walked out. Mid-interview. No further explanation. Before leaving, Ball did offer: “Fortunately, everybody is cool, so blessings. God is great.”

The Outfit
If the walkout wasn’t enough to generate headlines, Ball’s attire certainly was. He showed up wearing jersey shorts that barely covered his backside, revealing his white undergarments for everyone to see.

In a league known for bold fashion choices, Ball continues to operate in his own lane one that apparently doesn’t include pants that fit.

The Coach’s Response
“The first thing when you hear about any type of accident is you hope all parties involved are okay, they’re healthy and safe. So, he was able to come in today feeling good, ready to go, and he’ll be ready to play tonight.”
The Investigation
Police continue to investigate the crash. Ball’s future availability and his choice of post-game attire remain topics of intense interest.

For LaMelo Ball, even a car accident becomes a fashion statement. Whether that’s good or bad depends entirely on your perspective.
