Luka Doncic was issued his 16th technical foul during Friday’s 116-99 home win against the Brooklyn Nets. Doncic and Brooklyn forward Ziaire Williams were each issued a technical after a small scuffle.
On Saturday evening, the NBA announced that Doncic has been suspended one game for picking up his 16th technical foul of the season.

In 62 regular-season games, Doncic is averaging 33.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game, via ESPN.

While the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs continue to fight for the top seed in the Western Conference, Doncic and the Lakers are in a tight race with the Denver Nuggets.

Los Angeles is the No. 3 seed with a 48-26 record, but the Nuggets are breathing down their necks at 47-28. The Timberwolves are 45-28, with Houston right behind them at 44-29.
