The Los Angeles Lakers are leaving no stone unturned as they prepare for their upcoming playoff battle against the Houston Rockets.
At the center of it all is 41-year-old LeBron James, who continues to defy age while leading a shorthanded Lakers squad into the postseason.

In a recent video shared by the team, Lakers players including LeBron James were seen pushing themselves on stationary bikes in what appears to be a focused conditioning session ahead of the playoffs.

The workout suggests a strong emphasis on endurance and conditioning, especially important given the physical demands of playoff basketball.

The Lakers won’t be at full strength heading into the series. Austin Reaves is expected to miss the entire first round, with a possible return only if the team advances further into the postseason.

Meanwhile, Luka Dončić who recently underwent treatment in Spain for a hamstring injury could return sooner than expected, but his availability remains uncertain.

That leaves LeBron James as the primary force expected to carry the team early in the series. Even at 41, the burden falls heavily on him to deliver performances reminiscent of his prime years.

But not everyone was impressed. Critics and trolls quickly flooded social media with jokes and skepticism:“This is corny by the Lakers,” one user commented.

Others questioned whether the effort would translate into success on the court, with some predicting an early playoff exit despite the intense preparation.

While the jokes continue online, the reality is clear: the Lakers are facing an uphill battle. With key players sidelined and a strong opponent ahead, their no matter how unconventional will be put to the test.

For LeBron James, the mission is familiar but increasingly difficult: carry his team deep into the playoffs against all odds.
