UFC legend Jon Jones is once again at the center of a driving-related controversy and this time, the incident came with a twist worthy of a movie script.
Jones, who has a long history of issues behind the wheel, found himself in another viral moment over the weekend when a man unknowingly flipped him off during what turned into a tense road-rage confrontation.
The incident was captured on Meta Glasses by Bryan Beltran, who had no idea the driver he was yelling at was one of the most feared fighters in MMA history.
According to Beltran, Jones nearly hit him while driving, prompting him to react out of frustration. Both men ended up pulling into the same parking lot, where the heavyweight star.
Jones seemed surprisingly calm, replying, “You gotta calm down, bro. You gotta relax yourself, bro,” before flipping him off and getting back into his vehicle.
The short clip quickly went viral, with fans stunned that the man had accidentally provoked Jon Jones someone most people would avoid angering at all costs.
Beltran later admitted he didn’t recognize Jones until the fighter walked toward him. Only then did he realize he had flipped off a former UFC champion known for both his dominance.
Jones, now 38, has a long track record of driving incidents. His most infamous case came in 2015, when he received probation for a hit-and-run involving a pregnant woman.
