On Saturday, the Thunder faced off against the Washington Wizards. However, the game took a chaotic turn in the first half when a major altercation broke out.
What followed was a full-blown scuffle. Rather than calming things down, Anthony Gill and Cason Wallace also got involved and added to the chaos.
The referees quickly stepped in and took control. Upon review, the refs ejected Williams, Champagnie, Wallace, and Mitchell from the game for their roles in the altercation.
Gilgeous-Alexander led the charge with 40 points and seven assists, shooting 17-of-27 from the field. Isaiah Hartenstein added nine points but made a huge impact with 20 rebounds and 10 assists while shooting .
For the Wizards, Alex Sarr finished with 14 points, five rebounds, and eight assists. Bilal Coulibaly paced the team with 21 points.
