Zion Williamson Accused of Rape and Abuse

NBA star Zion Williamson is facing serious allegations after a woman filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court on May 30, 2025. The woman, identified as Jane Doe, claims she was in a relationship with Williamson from 2018, when he was at Duke University, until June 2023. She accuses him of rape and a pattern of abusive, controlling, and threatening behavior throughout their relationship.
According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff alleges that Williamson raped her twice in 2020 while he was living in Beverly Hills for training. In one instance, she claims she was brought to his home by his agent and, upon his return, he allegedly pinned her down and raped her after she refused his advances. The second incident reportedly occurred a month later under similar circumstances

The lawsuit also details other forms of alleged abuse, including choking, smothering, and threats to her life. She claims Williamson monitored her activities, denied her access to her phone, and entered her residence without permission. These incidents reportedly took place between 2020 and 2023 in both Louisiana and California.
The plaintiff’s attorney, Sam Taylor of the Lanier Law Firm, emphasized the seriousness of the case, stating, “Our client looks forward to her day in court before a jury of her peers to obtain justice in this matter.” They have chosen not to litigate the case in the media.
As of now, Williamson has not publicly responded to the allegations, and no criminal charges have been filed. The legal process will determine the outcome of these serious accusations.
